Impressionistic Canadian Art

Like so many painters, Eleanor Lohner has always been inspired by nature. In her younger years she was busy raising her three sons and farming.
When she settled down to making pictures, Eleanor took some local U of A extension courses. The style at first was realistic; then gradually changed to impressionistic art. Now in senior years she is experimenting with abstract art.
She wants to hold onto those little treasures that one comes across unexpectedly.
Eleanor enjoys the effect of light and movement and tries to” look beyond the paint”. She gives God alone the credit for creativity.
